A Legacy Moment: 32 Years of Service and the Next Chapter for Pathways Clinic

Thirty-two years ago, someone believed that a woman facing an unexpected pregnancy should never have to face it alone.

She should have a safe place to go. A place where care was free, private, compassionate, and filled with grace.

That belief became Pathways Clinic.

Because of faithful supporters like you, Pathways has continued opening its doors for more than three decades, offering pregnancy testing, ultrasound, STI services, parenting education, material support, and the hope of Christ to women, men, and families across our community.

Today, we have significant news to share, and we are asking you to help carry this mission into its next chapter.

32 Years of Service — And Still Growing

In 2025, Pathways Clinic provided 2,188 appointments for patients from across our region. Through the first half of 2026 alone, we have already provided 1,037 appointments, putting us on pace to match last year’s volume even as we navigate one of the most significant transitions in our history. The need in our community is not shrinking. If anything, it is growing. And by God’s grace, so are we.

We Earned National Accreditation

This year, Pathways Clinic achieved accreditation through The Joint Commission, the nation’s most respected symbol of quality and patient safety in healthcare.

This milestone reflects far more than a certificate on the wall. It represents years of faithful work, careful preparation, medical excellence, and a deep commitment to serving every patient with dignity, compassion, and the highest standard of care.

Every patient who walks through our doors receives care that is not only free and compassionate, but nationally accredited.

A New Clinic, A Steadfast Mission

We want to be transparent with you: Pathways Clinic is moving.

Short-notice changes to the terms of our current clinic location, combined with steady growth in patient volume and the limits of our existing space, required us to make a major decision sooner than expected.

But one priority guided every step: keeping care available to the people who depend on us.

We have signed a lease on a new primary clinic in Vancouver, Washington, with services scheduled to open in September. The data made this decision clear. In 2025, nearly 43% of all appointments came from Vancouver, the largest share of any community we serve.

Where Our Patients Came From in 2025

• Vancouver: 939 appointments — 43% of all appointments provided
• Washougal: 746 appointments — 34% of all appointments provided
• Camas: 168 appointments — 8% of all appointments provided

Together, Vancouver, Washougal, and Camas represented 85% of the appointments we provided last year.

This data also tells us something very important: Washougal and Camas remain central to our mission. Together, they represent nearly as many appointments as Vancouver. We are not abandoning the communities that built Pathways. We are actively searching for affordable or donated space in Camas or Washougal so we can maintain a local presence here as well.

Thirty-two years of ministry is not an accident.

It is the result of thousands of faithful decisions: to give, to volunteer, to pray, to open the door, to answer the phone, to sit with someone in fear, and to believe that every life is worth showing up for.

This transition is one of the most significant chapters in our history since Pathways first opened its doors.

And like every chapter before it, this one will only be possible because of people who believe what we believe: that every life is worth protecting, every patient deserves excellent care, and every person should be met with compassion, truth, and hope.

That is why we are launching the Pathways Legacy Capital Campaign with a goal of raising $100,000.

This campaign is not simply about funding a move. It is about building the next chapter of Pathways Clinic with wisdom, stability, and faithfulness. Your gift will help strengthen our future by supporting the new Vancouver clinic, equipping our medical and patient care spaces, offsetting the added rent and operating expenses of maintaining a second location, and protecting the continuity of care during this transition.

We want to steward every dollar responsibly and remain true to the budget entrusted to us. This campaign allows us to move forward without compromising services, overextending our operating budget, or stepping away from the communities that have helped build Pathways for more than three decades.
