Hear from one of Pathways' Clients
Our world is changing rapidly, and Pathways is here to help our clients and patients navigate the ever evolving "new reality" that each day seems to bring. Through it all, Pathways remains a constant, comforting, reliable source of information, inspiration, and hope for those who find themselves in need of a helping hand, a compassionate ear, and the message of God's grace.
With the recent overturning of Roe v. Wade by the Supreme Court and the events leading up to it, we see our country becoming even more divided and angry. Tempers and patience have been stretched so tightly that it feels as though the world could snap in an instant. Logic, reason, and science have been replaced with hateful intolerance, propaganda, and violence. Anarchist groups have targeted Pregnancy Resource Centers just like Pathways with vandalism, firebombs, broken windows, and violent threats against staff and volunteers.
Even through the turmoil, Pathways remains committed to providing services to every woman, man, and family in need in our community. We are more determined than ever to reach out as far as we can to make sure no woman is left to make a decision out of fear. With trigger laws taking effect across the nation, Washington State and Oregon have vowed to become sanctuaries for women seeking abortion. They intend to capitalize on what is being called "Abortion Tourism" as women seek to find services away from home. We intend to counteract these efforts with expanded hours and services so that we can meet every need. To do this, we need volunteers... people just like you who are passionate about life and are willing to join us on the mission field.
Available volunteer positions include:
Medical Professionals: RN, ARNP, CNM, MD
Admin: Social Media, Development, Donor Relations
Committees: Special Events, Church Representatives
Housekeeping, Baby Boutique
We hope that you will consider joining our team. I can't begin to describe how rewarding it is to see what happens when we Give Hope, Share Grace, and Change Lives.
We are profoundly grateful to have the ability to continue to serve during this time. God is so good. Even in the darkest of times, you can see His hand at work and find the blessings within the storm.
